Uniworld Generations · Europe & Egypt
Everyone gets the trip they actually wanted. Same ship, same week.
Every Uniworld Generations family river cruise includes special programs, events, and excursions designed specifically for world travelers in training. Excursions are tailor-made for families and hosted by local experts. Onboard, kids get their own cooking classes, craft workshops, and a lounge of their own — while the adults get the river cruise they’d have booked anyway.
On board and ashore
What the week actually looks like.
Local experts, hands-on workshops, and a ship that knows your kids’ names by day two.
Who it’s for
Two age groups, two very different trips.
Junior Cruisers
Scavenger hunts through castles, chocolate making, pastry class with the chef, crafts that match the port.
Teen Cruisers
Their own host, their own lounge, and excursions that treat them like travelers rather than chaperoned kids.
Everyone else
Nothing about the ship changes. Same all-inclusive luxury, same excursions, same wine at dinner.
What’s included
Kids get their own version of the trip.
Not a kids’ club — a parallel itinerary, run by two dedicated Family Hosts on every sailing.

Where it sails
Six routes, chosen for families.
Generations departures run on select dates rather than fleet-wide, and they’re scheduled around school breaks — summer and the winter holidays, mostly. U.S. News now ranks the best family-friendly river cruise itineraries alongside its traditional cruise lists.

Why book it with us
The good cabins go first.
Family sailings sell out from the inside. The connecting rooms and the larger suites go before the sailing does, and there are only so many Generations departures in a year. That’s the part we watch for you.
We’ll match the itinerary to your family rather than the calendar: how far your youngest can walk, whether your teenager needs a real excursion or a real nap, which ship has the cinema, whether the grandparents want a balcony or a quiet deck. For reunions and milestone trips, or larger family groups, we’ll coordinate the whole party under one booking.
Ready when you are.
Tell us who’s coming and roughly when. An advisor will take it from there.
