Next June I’m hosting a sailing aboard Silversea’s Silver Shadow, round-trip from Nice. It’s a small ship — the kind that ties up close to town rather than dropping you at an industrial pier a taxi ride away — and it’s all-inclusive, so once you’re aboard there’s nothing to think about but where to sit for dinner.
We’ll trace the French coast, cross to the Balearics, and come back along Italy. Long lunches, good wine, and a group of people who are easy to be with. If you’ve been waiting for the right Mediterranean trip, I think this is it — let me know and I’ll hold a suite for you.
