White-Headed Capuchin Monkey

White-Headed Capuchin Monkeys are loved by many because of their adorable faces and charming shenanigans. Just keep a tight hold on your personal belongings, as they love to snatch anything and everything!

Ocelot

Ocelots, also known as “Dwarf Leopards,” are wild cats that live in Costa Rica’s forests.

Three-Toed Sloth

Three-Toed Sloths are not only known for their three toes, but they also are known for always looking like they are smiling. They will be just as happy to see you as you will be to see them…that is, if you can catch them while they are awake!

Chestnut-Mandibled Toucan

These brilliantly bright birds are one of six toucans found in Costa Rica. Their bright colors make them hard to miss!

Red-Eyed Tree Frog

Red-Eyed Tree Frogs are sometimes overlooked as just normal frogs, but if you look close enough, their blue and yellow stripes will give them away. Not to mention their distinct red eyes!

Blue Morpho Butterfly

Although small, Blue Morpho Butterflies’ brilliant blue color make them stand out in green and brown forests.
